Dr. Tony Purdy

 

Dr. Tony Purdy grew up in various states including Georgia, Arizona and Virginia. Living in Michigan, for the last thirty-nine years he considers Michigan, home. After graduating from Warren Mott High School in 1968, he attended Eastern Michigan University, graduating in 1972 with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a double major in Marketing and Management. After three years in the medical field he decided that "allopathic medicine" was not the best path to good health and started looking at "alternative" forms of health care. After researching chiropractic for six months he decided this form of health care offered people the greatest potential for good health. Dr. Purdy graduated from Life Chiropractic University in December of 1979, with honors. In April of 1980, Dr. Purdy opened Purdy Chiropractic Clinic in Warren, Michigan. In the last 29 years, Dr. Purdy has performed over 325,000 chiropractic adjustments to patients ranging from newborns to ninety year old seniors. Dr. Purdy has been married to his wife Susan for 35 years and has two daughters and one son. His oldest daughter, Nicole, graduated from Life Chiropractic University in September 2007. She and her husband Dereck have a son, Joseph Abraham, who hopefully will be entering Life Chiropractic University in 2025. His daughter Amanda graduated from Oakland University with a teaching degree in Elementary Education. His son, Tony, graduated from Life Chiropractic University in June 2005 and is currently practicing at the Purdy Chiropractic Clinic of Rochester Hills. Tony is married to M-C, a chiropractor, and just recently had their first child, Olivia. Dr. Purdy’s motto is "do what you love and love what you do." Dr. Nicole Purdy-Cantu

Dr. Nicole Purdy-Cantu has grown up in a large chiropractic family and has always known the benefits of natural health care. Dr. Nicole has been adjusted since birth and tries to live the healthiest lifestyle possible. She just recently graduated from Life Chiropractic University in Marietta, Georgia where she completed her undergrad and chiropractic studies. Dr. Nicole and her husband Dereck have a son, Joey. Joey was adjusted and subluxation free within an hour of his birth. Dr. Nicole is very excited to be part of the great team at Purdy Chiropractic Clinic and looks forward to helping you achieve optimal health through chiropractic.
